Since the inception of TakingITGlobal day celebration in Nigeria.We have been able to host this event in two major ethnic groups or Zones.The zones are South Eastern where Portharcourt hosted and Western where lagos hosted.The objectives of these events were achieved judging from the level of participation from these zones.
We in TakingITGlobal encourages the spread of this organisation to all parts of Nigeria and we provide free participation for all youths around the world to participate actively in TIG activities.
The AIMS of this Get Together is
-To introduce TakingITGlobal to the young people of the North.
-To seek new areas of involvement and collaborations with the civil Society groups in that Region.
-To identify with the cultural heritage of Kano people and also introduce young artist to TakingITGlobal gallery.
-To recognise the achievement of youth leaders internationally and nationally.This will provide inspirations to young people.
-To recognise corporate individuals that has been at the fore-front of youth development and empowernment in the world,nation and Kano State.
-To promote TakingITGlobal open forum to youth leaders and students.
-To encourage the submission of materials to the country site http.nigeria.takingitglobal.org

Please this notice is for all members of TakingITGlobal in Nigeria to desist from using the TakingITGlobal name indescriminately whenever they are organising an event in thier community.You cannot claim to represent TIG when at the end of the day we cannot recieve the report of the so called event.We support our members to be active in various workshops in thier areas and we also encourage the use of the online tools for such purpose.But we cannot continue this way by using the name of an organisation to promote your ideas without getting permission from the local team here in Nigeria.
We have started compiling names of young people that are embarking on several TIG initiatives in thier areas.Please indictate by sending your project idea proposal to m-jerry@takingitglobal.org for approval.We will then know if your project is inline with what TIG promotes.
